Since the early times
Anyone would be surprised at how far the bikini actually dates back in time. As early as fourteen hundred BC, there has been artworks discovered that included two piece garments worn by women. There has been much debate as to when the name bikini was actually created and of course bikinis models didn't exist back then either.
The official naming was reportedly by a French man named Louis Reard as well as a fashion designer named Jacques heim who apparently coined the word at a fashion show back in 1946.
Several styles of the bikini
The standard bikini is just the two pieces described above. Sooner or later you’ll find out that there are far too many different bikini styles floating around in the world at shopping mall stores, though variety is a good thing. Most hot girls like to have a variety of bikinis in the closet to choose from.
There is believed to be six different styles of bikinis in total. String bikini, monokini, microkini(also called micro bikini), tankini, slingkini, and sports bikini comprise the full line of types. Most bikini shops specialize in a couple different styles and it’s unlikely that one shop will have the full selection. This means bikini girls who want it all, may end up shopping around.
In the 1960s there was a whole string of movies released under various named that featured girls in bikinis. This stimulated the public interest as well as certain public morals and of course outrage.
After the dust had settled the 1970s and onward brought the bikini to a whole new level. Fitness models were on the rise and the bikini garment created massive sex appeal for women all over the world. The bikini was now featured in not only just movies, but in bikini contests, magazines, Hollywood and music videos.
Bikini waxing
Soon, the art of bikini waxing was finely tuned. This meant that bikini girls could remove unwanted hair at the top of the legs and in the bikini area in general. The waxing method always produces better results than shaving or sugaring to get a perfect bikini line.
Some women bikini wax all year round, simply because lingerie styles have changed so much and have become more revealing, personal hygiene can come into play.
